In Rajasthan, the state-level elections for the Accountant Association concluded in Jaipur, where Girraj Prasad Meena from Karanawar Bandikui in Dausa district achieved a remarkable victory as the President of the State Assembly. He secured a total of 150 votes, while his closest rival, Chain Singh Rathore, received 109 votes. This victory marks a margin of 41 votes for Meena.
Niranjan Meena, the district president, stated that the election process was entirely transparent and filled with enthusiasm. Currently, Girraj Prasad Meena serves as the First Assistant Accounts Officer in the Dausa Forest Department. His win is expected to bring significant recognition to Dausa district at the state level and inject new energy into resolving the issues faced by accounting professionals.
Newly Elected President's Commitment: Timely Resolution of Issues
After his victory, Girraj Prasad Meena expressed gratitude to all members of the association during a media interaction. He emphasized that addressing all accounting-related issues promptly will be his top priority. He also raised key demands from the government, insisting that the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and promotions should occur on time. Furthermore, he strongly advocated for the implementation of an 80:20 reservation system for promotions to the Accounts Officer position through ECS Treasury.
Members of the association are thrilled about this victory. Accounting professionals in Dausa district believe that Girraj Prasad Meena's state-level responsibilities will expedite the resolution of local issues.
